Gutter Cleaning
Gutter Cleaning
Most professionals will recommend that you clean your gutters at least twice a year. However, depending on the climate and the number of trees around your home, you may have to clean your gutters more frequently.
With the bushfire season fast approaching, now is a good time to prepare your home and your family. One of the most effective ways is to have your gutters clean and free from debris. One of the main reasons for property loss due to bushfires is debris in gutters catching alight from a floating ember.
Gutter cleaning will also reduce standing water near your house, gutter sagging, rainwater flow and help prevent bugs and birds nesting in your gutters. Two storey home? No problem! Contact East Coast Eco today.
FAQ's
Depends on the size of your house and access to the roof but around about $150 – we are happy to give you a free quote before you commit to having the work done.
We will use gloves to get into the gutters and remove all leaves and debris. Then we will use a blower to make sure any small matter is also removed. We will then pressure wash the gutters nice and clean and clear any blockages.
This really depends on the weather and how many trees are close to your house etc but we recommend twice per year if possible, especially important when coming into summer time if you are in a potential fire hazard area.
Of course you can!
But without the correct equipment and training, you risk hurting yourself! To many people this is not worth the risk!
All our staff are trained in working on roofs and use the correct safety equipment.
Because we will be working on your roof and around your home, you are not required to be home for us to conduct our clean.
This means you won’t have to organise a babysitter, or take some time off work which could be better used on a holiday.
We can provide before and after photos of your gutters to analyse so you can see the results yourself.
